10/8/1998Herb MaunuGamma measurement 22.0 uR/hr displayed on October 6 was caused by equipment malfunction. Weather sensors also displayed erronous data at the same time period.Station InfoData Graph
10/7/1998Herb MaunuHigh gamma measurements displayed weekly since August 21 were caused by EPA quality assurance (QA) radiation check source. This procedure will be performed weekly at 13 EPA Community Technical Liaison Program (CTLP) stations surrounding the Nevada Test Site and monthly at 4 stations in Utah. Gamma measurements within the range of 30 uR/hr and 120 uR/hr is considered a QA radiation check source measurement unless indicated otherwise.Station InfoData Graph
8/21/1998Larry SandersThe station was loaded with NEWNET version R35 software on 8/21/98 at 17:29Z. This software provides improved accuracy for radiation measurements in the low range. The station was re-wired with a door sensor and new voltage divider for the radiation sensor. A new 12 volt battery was be installed. The PIC 300 volt battery voltage was not replaced, the battery measured 297 volts. Currently, this station only has a radiation sensor. EPA will install meteorological sensors later. All meteorological inputs will remain shorted until the meteorological sensors are installed.Station InfoData Graph
