About the Calculator

Information for this calculator was taken from the "Personal Radiation Dose Chart," pamphlet published by the American Nuclear Society (ANS), © 1990. Data came from this reference and from the DOE Office of Environmental Management site. In the case of discrepancies between two dose estimates, a reasonable approximation between the values was made.
